A September 2023 Games Calendar

A September 2023 games calendar neatly organises upcoming titles by genre, and it’s already received rave reviews from people on Reddit, who are calling it “awesome” and even suggesting an app version. The free calendar features games such as Mortal Kombat 1, Baldur’s Gate 3, and a Game Pass title, and there’s even excitement over the release of Lies of P.

Based on the popular upcoming games list over on Reddit, the calendar is organised by genre and highlights the biggest releases of 2023. Some users point out that you can do similar things using OperaGX or Firefox, but there’s a huge amount of enthusiasm for this calendar regardless.

“This is awesome,” one user says. “I’m going to print this out and hang it on my wall.” Another comments, “I’m so excited for this, this calendar has given me a reason to live.” Others express their eagerness for Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk, and more.

There are a few dissenting voices. One user says, “Won’t lie, I’m a little disappointed in the [Starfield] release date. I wanted more than a week’s notice for this one.” Others complain about the early access release of Starfield, and express their disagreement with the decision.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a big draw, with some people considering it a potential Game of the Year. There’s also excitement over Lies of P and the Game Pass title, although one person asks, “Is this just a Portillo’s simulator?” in reference to the restaurant chain.

Cyberpunk and its DLC are also big, with one person saying, “Cyberpunk 2077 may be the most hyped game since Halo Infinite.” There’s also a mixed reaction to EA Sports FC 24, with some users expressing disappointment over the pay-to-win nature of the game.

The release of Mortal Kombat 1 on September 14 is generating a lot of excitement, and one person describes it as “the closest thing to a perfect game we may ever get.” There’s also some interest in the game Wandering Sword, and a humorous comment about someone getting stuck on Pokémon and Fortnite instead of playing the new games.

There’s also a lot of discussion about the nature of preordering, with many people advising against it. “Preordering is always a gamble,” one person says. “I’m not even going to preorder Party Animals,” another adds, referencing the upcoming multiplayer game about partying with animals.

Finally, someone asks for a calendar featuring mobile phone games like Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, which they call “the best game of all time.”

Elsewhere, there’s a lot of discussion around the upcoming Starfield DLC, with a request for a “Starfield trailer breakdown” video from YouTube personality Sean ‘Day9’ Plott.

There’s also interest in the game Wandering Sword, which one person describes as “an action-adventure game heavily inspired by Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with a great art style, and killer music.”

And finally, we just have to include this quote, which is just too good to pass up:
