Baldur's Gate 3's Sorcerous Sundries Vault
Baldur’s Gate 3’s Sorcerous Sundries is more than just a shop and library filled with books, as the building has a secret vault for high-level wizards only. To reach the Sorcerous Sundries Vault, you need to solve the Ramazith’s Tower Puzzle, so here’s everything you need to know about the Vault and how to enter Sorcerous Sundries.
How to Enter Sorcerous Sundries
To reach the puzzle, head to Lorroakan’s Study, the large library in the northeastern corner of Sorcerous Sundries. If you’ve already completed Ramazith’s Tower and gained access to Lorroakan’s Study, speak with him, then look to the north side of the room. There are floating tables and shelves you can jump onto, allowing you to reach the higher level of the library.
Care should be taken when jumping off the final piece, as there are traps on the ground that deal fire damage. Once you’re on the top level, you should see a button on the southeast side of the room. Walk up to it and press the ‘Weave Button’ to open the Vault.
Accessing the Sorcerous Sundries Vault with Gale and Tolga
The Vault is much more difficult to access than the puzzle above, as you’ll need to complete a quest with Gale and Tolga. If you haven’t finished their quest called Tome-Hunting, then you won’t be able to access the Sorcerous Sundries Vault.
Speak with Tolga in the back of the first-floor room, then persuade her so she’ll tell you about the Vault. You can sneak into the office on the second floor by lockpicking the door, or you can use Invisibility to avoid being seen. Once you’re in the office, search the bookshelf to find a key to the Sorcerous Sundries Basement Chest.
Head up to the third level of the bookshelf and interact with the ‘Clasped Book’ to create a portal to the Vault. The Vault is filled with clever traps, so make sure you’re ready with a crafty wizard and high Arcana skill.
