Broforce Forever: The Final Update for the Beloved Side-Scrolling Action Shooter Game
Broforce, the beloved side-scrolling Action shooter game also known as the “Sonic the Hedgehog of shooters,” is getting a final free Update, dubbed Broforce Forever. The update, from publisher Devolver Digital, is a long-awaited free update to the popular 2015 game, and it’s getting a bit of a cult following.
The new update introduces new playable characters, including Xebro Warrior Princess and Broffy the vampire slayer. Seth Brondle, a character from Cronenberg’s The Fly, will also be included. Naturally, he doesn’t quite fit the mold of an action character, but hey, the update is a testament to the dedication of the developers to their games, and the fun gameplay is what matters most.
Of course, the new playable characters aren’t the only additions coming to Broforce. The campaign will be getting improvements, as well as new unlocks. The game will also be getting four new challenge levels. Finally, there are also a number of bug fixes.
Broforce Forever is set to deliver an ultimate expression of military might and fun gameplay, according to Devolver Digital. It’s set to release on August 8.
