Modern Warfare 3: The Return of the Mini-Map
Modern Warfare 3 is reportedly bringing back the classic mini-map feature, alongside some exciting new additions to the Call of Duty franchise. If you’re a fan of the series, you’ll know that this return is sure to excite you, as some previous Modern Warfare installments completely removed the mini-map, forcing players to rely solely on the compass to navigate their way around the map.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll always choose a map with the compass and mini-map activated, so this news that we’ll be able to rely on the former once again is fantastic. The leaks also indicate that Modern Warfare 3 will be getting a brand new gear system, which is sure to shake things up.
The New Gear System

It looks like Modern Warfare 3 will be introducing a brand new gear system, which is guaranteed to shake things up. While we don’t have much info yet, the leaks indicate that there will be new abilities and perks that can be attached to your loadout.
We don’t know much about the gear system, but its introduction is definitely a positive step forward for the franchise. With this new system in place, we can expect to see an exciting blend of beloved features with innovative elements.
The Return of the Ninja Perk
While we’ve only seen one leak with regards to the return of the Ninja perk, it’s definitely big news among the Call of Duty community. The Ninja perk first appeared in Call of Duty Black Ops 4, and grants players enhanced stealth and movement capabilities. Its absence in previous installments was sorely missed by fans, so its inclusion in Modern Warfare 3 will be music to their ears.
