A Destiny 2 activity is in chaos following the release of a new Exotic quest, which has left players divided in their approach to the ongoing content within the FPS game. As a result, teams are finding it difficult to coordinate efforts, leaving players in a state of confusion and frustration as they struggle to complete objectives in Season of the Deep’s Deep Dives.
Deep Dives Activity Causes Rift Among Players
According to PC Game Spotlight, the new Exotic quest has caused a rift among teams as players are now torn apart by disagreements on how to proceed in the Deep Dives activity.
“Since the beginning of the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep, players have struggled to work together to complete Season of the Deep’s Deep Dives, a new activity introduced with the Season of the Deep,” PC Game Spotlight reports. “Players are currently in a state of chaos as they are unable to just come to a consensus on what to do.”
The report continues, “The Discord among players has led to an overall lack of coordination and progress being made, resulting in many players being unable to complete this week’s Nightfall and the normal Deep Dives milestones.”
As a result of the lack of agreement on what to do in the activity, players are unable to coordinate efforts and complete the mission. This chaos has disrupted the gameplay experience for a number of Destiny 2 players.
“I’m not sure what the [expletive] is going on, but we can’t do this PVP Nightfall because for some reason we can’t agree on what to do in Deep Dives,” one frustrated player comments.
“This whole Nightfall is just a nightmare because everyone disagrees on what to do,” another writes. “Literally everyone is arguing in the group and it’s making it impossible to do anything.”
The divisive nature of the Deep Dives activity has sent players into a frenzy as they attempt to navigate the conflicting opinions surrounding the new Exotic quest.
“Literally half the people in my discord are telling us to do one thing, and the other half are telling us to do something completely different,” another player adds.
Although the chaotic situation is unique to Season of the Deep’s Deep Dives, the chaos caused by the new Exotic quest has disrupted the gameplay experience for many players.
“I’m just so [expletive] tired of this,” one player remarks. “I’ve never seen so many people so confused over what to do in a damn video game.”
“So, I’m not sure if anyone has noticed, but everyone is currently so divided on what to do in Deep Dives,” another adds. “Everything is just so chaotic and disjointed.”

“Literally, the people who are complaining about not having a guide for Deep Dives have no idea how to do Deep Dives themselves,” one player comments.
