Don’t Starve Together skill trees

Don’t Starve Together skill trees are a major new addition to the survival game. As you might expect, these allow you to assign points to specific options in the Don’t Starve Together skill tree. These are available alongside the boons that you’ll find in the open world, and can be accessed via the Celestial Portal after you’ve reached a specific level.

The Don’t Starve Together skill tree system is similar to that of the main game, with boons unlocked through completing achievements such as eating X number of food items or completing a full season cycle. However, points now carry over between games, so you don’t have to worry about losing progress if you want to try out different characters. You’ll also earn Insight Points as you play different characters, and can use these to unlock skill trees for specific characters.

We’ve got the full Don’t Starve Together skill tree list for you below. Note that some of these may require an in-game quest to be completed to gain access to the tree, while others are available from the start.

Woodie’s skill trees

The Cursed category focuses on enhancing Woodie’s Were-form abilities. The Transformation tree slows the drain of the Were-form meter, allowing Woodie to retain sanity and hunger when reverting to human form. The Beaver tree enhances Woodie’s abilities in Werebeaver form, such as faster tree chopping and breaking boulders, while the Weremoose tree improves Woodie’s speed, health regeneration, and adds a powerful attack. The Weregoose tree increases speed, provides water protection, and allows for random dodging of attacks.

The Lumberjack category focuses on resource collection speed and damage against Tree Guards. The Tree Guard Feller tree allows Woodie to craft a Tree Guard Idol that turns nearby trees into Tree Guards. The Lucy tree offers unique crafting options, including faster plank crafting and the creation of the Hardwood Hat and Wooden Walking Stick. The Affinity tree becomes available after unlocking twelve other skills and grants immunity to Nightmare Creatures in Were-form.

The Cryptic Founder tree can be unlocked by defeating the Celestial Champion and grants control over Woodie’s transformations. Players must choose between allying with Charlie or the lunar creatures in order to unlock certain boons.
