A FromSoftware fan spends two days grinding for over 10 million Runes in Elden Ring, just so they can lose them all in a single fall. After exhausting their efforts for such a massive Rune haul, the player turns to the FromSoftware community for suggestions on what to do with their amassed fortune. Unfortunately, gravity is the “run killer,” as one user puts it.
“What should I do with all of these Elden Ring runes?” the player asks, after spending 20 hours grinding in the RPG game.
“Build a bow?” one user replies. “Play through the game as a Level 8 character without spending the runes?” suggests another.
The player combines these two ideas, but then tragedy strikes during a platforming section. “I lost all of my Elden Ring runes,” the player says, showing that despite the immense fortune they tragically lose all the runes in just one fall.
“I lost all the runes yesterday,” the player says in a follow-up video. “Today I’m heading to the place I lost them,” they add, showing them rushing to the place where the runes were lost.
“At least it wasn’t a boss,” one user replies, showing that the player’s effort is seen as commendable, despite the unfortunate outcome. Another user makes a humorous comment about the unfortunate outcome in the tagline: “Ouch.”
