Final Fantasy 16's Ultima Fight
Ultima is the final boss in Final Fantasy 16. With the world of Gran Pulse on the brink of destruction, time is of the essence. The journey to Drake's Spine, where the battle takes place, is filled with challenging encounters that test your skills.
Upon defeating the Behemoth, ascend the stairs and prepare for a skirmish against basic soldiers. Take a moment to open the chest next to the gate and retrieve 'The Will of Ice (Rime).' Proceed through the gate and engage in battles against Akashic forces, including Worgen and Vultures.
Continue forward along the linear paths, defeating the enemies that cross your path, until you reach a gate leading to the docks. Here, you'll face off against Orcs and a Gunnvaldr. Press on, exploring the castle and checking side rooms for hidden treasures. In one such room, you'll discover a chest containing 'The Will of Light (Satellite).' Descend the stairs past the gates and head to the lower platform on the right to find a substantial sum of 2,400 gil.
Eventually, you'll arrive at a massive gate. Defeat the enemies guarding it and operate the nearby lever. If needed, restock items or upgrade equipment by speaking with Goetz. Then, proceed by conversing with Joshua.
Following the cutscenes, you'll enter the Interdimensional Rift. This section involves navigating from one cutscene to another as Ultima reveals the history of the world.
Once the cutscenes conclude, it's time to face Ultima himself. Be prepared for a challenging battle. After emerging victorious, a series of cutscenes will unfold, setting the stage for the game's conclusion.
Before proceeding to Origin, take the opportunity to complete any remaining Hunts and Side Quests!
