Final Fantasy 16 has finally arrived. And one character who has fans talking is Cid. Cid, the well-known mechanical genius, has made a triumphant return in the latest installment of the series. From his appearance to his voice and personality, he has instantly captured the hearts of Final Fantasy fans.

The social media buzz surrounding Cid and the lively discussions about him will likely continue to grow as more players of Final Fantasy 16 dive into the world of Vythena. Protagonist Clive Rosfield encounters the spirited and charismatic Cid as he enters the Mazewood.

Cid's attractive appearance and deep, rugged voice have already propelled him to the top of numerous character ranking lists among Final Fantasy fans. It's worth noting that his design and dynamic positivity, combined with his experience, have even surpassed Clive as the most appealing main character of Final Fantasy 16.

While there are certainly other attractive characters in this new game, which I'll be discussing further in my upcoming Final Fantasy 16 review, Cid continues to captivate my attention. Part of it is his design, and part of it is a particular line that has everyone laughing. I won't repeat it here, but if you've played Final Fantasy 16, you likely know which one I'm referring to.

Cid also stands out among other Final Fantasy mechanical engineers and has already earned the title of one of the most beloved versions of Cid across the series' many games.

While Cid rises in popularity and discussions about a potential remake of Final Fantasy 6 gain momentum following this new release, I can't help but hope that Gilgamesh's steampunk lion won't be remade as well. Although, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world either.

As we wait to see how Cid's popularity in Final Fantasy 16 develops among players, let's not forget the other fan favorites that still deserve a proper remake or an HD remaster in the series. Nevertheless, Cid's character design and dynamic personality have already propelled the game to the top of many favorites lists.

We owe the new, high-definition versions of the characters and environments in the world of Vythena a great deal of gratitude. Cid's dramatic and flashy entrance couldn't have been more perfect. He doesn't simply make his way to the city by quietly leaving his Titan on the north side of Bancoubar and walking there. No, he jumps off with both feet, pulls a parachute, and crashes down in a cloud of dust, shouting toward the screen every step of the way.

Naturally, as the latest Final Fantasy game reaches fans and receives its first patch and DLC, we can expect the hype surrounding Cid to continue growing. Additional characters will also join the game through the Final Fantasy 16 Royal Edition and the first DLC pack, Ally of Justice. Players will embark on their first steps into the world of Vythena and beyond.
