Intel's 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs
Intel’s 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs are now listed by retailers, with the company’s latest chips set to boost clock speeds and core counts over their predecessors. While we’ve already seen the first 14900K benchmarks emerge, we now have more details on the incoming Intel Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K, Core i5-14600K, and their KF variants.
Intel Core i9-14900K
First up is the flagship Intel Core i9-14900K, which will boast 24 cores and 34 threads. That’s a big jump over the 16 cores and 24 threads of the current i9-9900K, and the chip should also boast a higher base and max turbo clock than its predecessor too.
Intel Core i7-14700K
Next up is the Core i7-14700K, which will include 20 cores and 28 threads. That’s a small jump over the 18 cores and 28 threads of the i7-9700K, but the chip should also see a 200 MHz higher max turbo clock.
Intel Core i5-14600K
Finally, there’s the Core i5-14600K, which will include 14 cores and 20 threads. That’s a small jump over the 12 cores and 16 threads of the i5-9500, but the chip should also boast a 200 MHz higher max turbo clock.
All three of the above CPUs will boast a 125W power budget and require an LGA1700 socket, and we’re expecting them to launch sometime in October. In the meantime, we may hear more about the new chips at Intel’s Innovation 2023 event, which kicks off on October 15.
