I painted a Magikarp

The painting was met with a lot of positivity from the Twitch community. The style was praised, and many users gave me great feedback about the aesthetic of the piece. I even received a suggestion to make a print with gold foil scales.

The Twitch stream was meant to be a bit of fun, as I intended to paint a Magikarp for about an hour, before moving onto the next painting in my series. However, the Art was so well-received that I ended up spending over four hours on it.

One user even encouraged me to create a “full series based on this,” and another pointed out that the art style was similar to Monster Hunter art. Some viewers even asked about the materials and software I used, which I explained in detail in a follow-up video, which you can check out below.

In terms of the Twitch reactions, there were a lot of “this is beautiful” comments, and many viewers said that the artwork was “impressive” and “amazing.” Many viewers also wanted to check out my Redbubble page, and one person even said they would get the art as a tattoo.

“This is so cool,” “amazing,” “beautiful,” and “mind-blowing” were just a few of the many positive adjectives used to describe the Magikarp painting. Of course, there were some viewers who were a bit curious about the cactus-like elements in the piece, but overall, the art was loved by many.

I also shared a follow-up video on my painting process, which you can check out below:

I think it’s safe to say that the positive response to my Magikarp painting suggests it was well-received by the Twitch community. While I didn’t expect quite so much praise, I’m happy I was able to bring joy to so many viewers and make them smile.

If you want to check out the Magikarp painting for yourself, you can do so below. Remember, this is an original painting, which you can check out over at my Redbubble page here.
