A lucky three-way Shiny Oranguru encounter has left Pokemon Go trainers stunned, as the rare event unfolded before their eyes in the popular mobile game. Each trainer in the group found a Shiny Oranguru at the same time, leaving the group and the wider Pokemon Go community in disbelief.
Extraordinary Shiny Oranguru Encounter
Shiny Pokemon are, of course, incredibly rare in Pokemon Go. Finding one is considered a rare achievement and a cause for celebration. But to have three at the same time? That’s just extraordinary. And yet, this is exactly what happened to a group of trainers in Pokemon Go.
A video shared on Twitter shows three Oranguru appearing in their Shiny form for each trainer in the group, an incredibly rare occurrence. As each trainer appeared to capture their Shiny Oranguru, the shock and surprise on their faces was clear – and understandable.
“That’s one, that’s two, that’s three,” the narrator of the video exclaims, as the trainers appear to have trouble processing what’s happening. “Three Shiny Orangurus at the same time?”
“This is all luck,” one of the trainers replies in disbelief. “All luck. How is this even possible?”
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen three Shiny Oranguru at once,” another adds. “I can’t even express my feelings right now,” a third concludes.
As the narrator says, finding a Shiny Pokemon is already incredible enough, but to have three at the same time is extraordinary. The odds of encountering a Shiny Pokemon are typically 1 in 450, but these trainers were clearly very, very lucky.
