Want to know how to unlock all the Brotato unlockables? There are plenty of unlockable characters and items in Brotato, and these add a lot of depth to an already explosive roguelike game. Each of the unlockable characters offers unique perks to make your run through the endless waves of aliens more exciting, while the powerful items add even more hype to your gameplay.

To help you get to grips with all the unlockable content in this top-down game, we've listed all of the locked characters and items, and how you can go about unlocking them. Be warned though, as you'll need to perform some pretty specific challenges and meet specific requirements to unlock them. The following table lists all of the locked characters and items in Brotato, along with how you can unlock them.

Characters

You can unlock new characters in Brotato by collecting materials from the enemy waves. Lucky, Generalist, and Multitasker are unlocked after you reach certain milestone amounts. Lucky requires 10,000 materials, while Generalist and Multitasker both require 20,000 materials.

Items

There are a number of powerful unlockable items in Brotato. These are unlocked by completing specific challenges, such as winning with the Pacifist character or on higher difficulty levels. The Pacifist character is unlocked after you collect 10,000 materials.

Characters that require you to defeat a certain number of enemies to unlock include Chunky, Engineer, and Doctor. Old can be unlocked by beating the game with a character that reaches level 50, while Mutant can be unlocked by beating the game with a character that reaches level 100. Gladiator can be unlocked by beating the game with a character that reaches level 50 and then defeating 500 enemies.

To unlock characters like Speedy, Ghost, and Farmer, you need to reach specific stat milestones. Speedy requires your character to have at least 100 movement, Ghost requires your character to have at least 100 stealth, and Farmer requires your character to have at least 100 endurance. Winning games with certain characters will unlock powerful weapons and items, such as the Hatchet, the Sniper Gun, and the Thunder Sword.

Finally, the Gnome provides bonuses to melee and elemental damage, making it ideal for certain weapons.
