No Hard Feelings characters

Curious to know who plays all of the characters in No Hard Feelings? The full cast of the movie includes an impressive mix of comedic actors and Hollywood stalwarts, and while they’re not household names by any means, they’ve all lent their talents to a notable project or two.

Maddie, the main character of No Hard Feelings, is played by the talented actress Jennifer Lawrence. After her performance in American Hustle garnered her an Academy Award nomination, she’s gone on to have a lengthy and impressive career to say the least. She’s also no stranger to the comedy genre having starred in the eponymous Hunger Games, Passengers, and she also lent her vocal talents to Red Sparrow – another flick with a rather interesting title.

Andrew Barth Feldman plays the role of Percy in No Hard Feelings, a self-proclaimed “significant other” of Maddie, with whom she shares her vehicle at the beginning of this road trip movie. Although, seeing as how Percy seems to be a complete and utter jerk, it might be for the best that things don’t work out between them in the end.

It’s safe to say that Matthew Broderick is no stranger to being a comedic character, be it Ferris Bueller, his wife’s extra-marital lover in True Tales of an International Jewel Thief, or Robin in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. In No Hard Feelings, he helps to add a little bit of levity to the story with his portrayal of the lawyer Laird.

Laura Benanti is most recognisable as Kate in the hit drama, Good Girls, however, she also managed to bring a little bit of that humour to this movie as Allison, Maddie’s neighbour and the person who tips her off as to the whereabouts of her vehicle.

Natalie more than likely has a criminal record, something that is never fully explained within the movie. They aren’t friends, however, and if two people can bring a sense of camaraderie from hating each other, Natalie and Maddie manage to find it. Played by Natalie Morales, if you recognise her voice it’s probably because she provides the voice of Luisa in the Despicable Me series.

Sara is Sara’s husband, Jim, and their name is slipped into the movie with such ease that it’s easy to forget they ever existed. Scott MacArthur puts a little bit of that Parks and Rec experience to work in No Hard Feelings as Jim, who arranges to meet up with Maddie so that some things that are very personal to Sara can be settled once and for all.

Gary is played by Ebon Moss-Bacharach in No Hard Feelings. He works alongside Maddie and Natalie in a grocery store, tipped off by Natalie to where Maddie’s car could be found.

In addition to his work on Saturday Night Live and starring for two seasons in the titular Timmy Time, Kyle Mooney brings a dose of childishness and humour in the form of Jody, Maddie’s former coworker whose name pops up in the epilogue.

Crispin is reprised in No Hard Feelings by Amalia Yoo, and it’s actually her first official role. In fact, after filming, she started her first year at Harvard University.

Natalie works at the grocery store where Crispin and Gary work, and it only takes one prank to turn these three into fast friends. Crispin is brought to life by Amalia Yoo, who is also an upcoming actress, slated to appear in the upcoming Hawkeye series for Disney+.

No Hard Feelings directors

No Hard Feelings is the directorial debut of actress Mali Elfman, and although she’s known for her work in her many short films, short television shows, and commercials, this is her first stab at a feature film. She’s also worked alongside Stephen Merchant as an assistant for Hello Ladies and Hello Ladies Special, so if that name rings any bells it’s because he also wrote and produced No Hard Feelings alongside Matthew Vaughn.
