Looking for the Sekhret location and how to beat the Final Fantasy XV boss? The Sekhret is a minotaur that can be hunted down after completing the Fire and Ice main quest. This iconic enemy is just one of many found in Greensheaves, including Malboros, Bombs, and Behemoths.

Sekhret Location

The Sekhret location can be found west of Rhiannon’s Ride, Rosaria, in the northwestern part of Greensheaves. Red dots on the map indicate that you are getting close to the boss.

Sekhret Boss Fight

The Sekhret boss fight is tough. This minotaur wields a giant club and its attacks are powerful enough to defeat you in two hits. It is recommended to keep your distance, as Sekhret lacks ranged attacks, allowing you to easily heal and use ranged Eikonic abilities.

Sekhret has a few different attacks. His Rush attack sees him charge towards you, knocking you back and dealing heavy damage if you are caught in it. He also has Underhanded Swing, Overhead Swing, Forward Swing, Big Swing, and Raging Bull.

Underhanded Swing and Overhead Swing see Sekhret raise his club upwards and then bring it down on you. If you are quick, you can dodge this attack and deal some damage. For Big Swing and Raging Bull, he holds his club above his head for a few seconds before bringing it down. These are great opportunities to use Eikonic abilities.

Unfortunately, Sekhret has a few attacks that make it difficult to get close. His Rush attack is one of these. You might be able to avoid this attack if you are far enough away, but in general, it is better to keep your distance.

Whichever Sekhret attack hits you, you will take a lot of damage. Thankfully, you can buy potions from the shops in Rhiannon’s Ride, which is close by. It is also a good idea to have the best defensive equipment you can wear.

It might be best to wait until you advance along the main story to attempt this hunt. Waiting until Jill returns to your party can also make the fight a little easier. Either way, be careful and watch out for Sekhret’s attacks if you want to emerge victorious. Defeating Sekhret will grant you experience, ability points, gil, and the spoils of Minotaur Mane.
