The Final Fantasy 14 Dancer Job
The Final Fantasy 14 Dancer Job is one of the most stylish and devastating Jobs in the game. With a myriad of tools and attacks at its disposal, the Dancer has become a fan-favorite. To unlock this unique role, players must reach at least Level 60 and complete the quest, “Shall We Dance”. For those looking to level up to 90, consulting the FF14 leveling guide is recommended.
Dancer Basics
The Dancer is a Physical Ranged DPS Job that doesn't require positional attacks. It's a role that's easy to pick up and perform, with a basic rotation for single-target attacks involving Cascade, Reverse Cascade, and Fountainfall. Fan Dance is an Off-GCD Action that follows Fountainfall, offering various effects based on cast time and buff granted. This rotation continues until the target is defeated.
For AoE attacks, the Dancer utilizes Windmill, Rising Windmill, and Bloodshower. At level 50, players can use Dancer’s Fan Dance to build stacks for Improvisation. By level 60, Fan Dance can also be used to heal the Dancer and nearby Party Members.
Dancer Buffs
The Dancer’s Dance Partner is selected before each fight and grants buffs throughout the encounter or dungeon. Typically, the Dance Partner should be the Melee DPS with the highest damage output. The Dance Partner’s equipment affects certain buffs:
