This quest is given by Rowan, a traveling trader.
Basic information
Unlocks after speaking to Rowan in Martha’s Rest.
Goal
Deliver a package to Gerard, the Stable Master, located over the bridge toward Martha’s Rest.
Upon completion, you’ll receive 18 Experience, as well as Sharp Fang x10 and Bloody Hide x5 as rewards.
False Friends
This side quest is given by Brennan, a sellsword.
Basic information
Unlocks after talking to Brennan, who is just outside Martha’s Rest toward the northeast.
Goal
Speak to the Off-duty Sellsword on the bridge to the south of Martha’s Rest. Find a lamp in the area to the east of the village. Return to Martha’s Rest to speak to Brennan again.
In this quest, you’ll find Norreis near the building and then return to Martha’s Rest to speak to Brennan again.
Upon completion, you’ll receive 20 Experience, 100 Ability Points, Magicked Ash x20, and Meteorite x1.
Crystalline Lifeline
This is another quest given by Clarke, a fishmonger.
Basic information
Unlocks after heading outside to the quest location south of Martha’s Rest.
Goal
Slay a pack of Bog Crabs to the south of Martha’s Rest. Return the crystal back to Clarke.
Upon completion, you’ll receive 18 Experience, 1,000 Gil, Wyrrite x10, and Magicked Ash x10 as rewards.
Beast Against Beast
Given by Fredric, a hunter.
Basic information
Unlocks after speaking to Fredric, who is also immediately outside of Martha’s Rest.
Goal
Slay a pack of Starving Wolves further up the road. Speak to Brice on the road toward Eastpool.
Upon completion, you’ll receive 20 Experience, 1,000 Gil, Wyrrite x10, and Meteorite x1.
While the Cat’s Away
Given by the Inn Hand.
Basic information
Unlocks after speaking to the In Hand, who is behind the counter of Martha’s Rest.
Goal
Enter the tavern and defeat the bandits.
Upon completion, you’ll receive 20 Experience, Wyrrite x10, and Steelsilk x5.
The White-Winged Wonder
Given by Rowan, the traveling trader.
Basic information
Unlocks after speaking to Rowan, who is just outside Martha’s Rest toward the northeast.
Goal
Head to the quest location south of Martha’s Rest and follow the chocobo tracks south to defeat the poachers, including a hammer-wielding elite.
Upon completion, you’ll receive 250 Experience, 20 Renown, Ambrosia’s Tack, and Sharp Fang x60.
As a result of completing this quest, you’ll also gain the ability to summon and ride Ambrosia, which is a fantastic reward.
