Disney Dreamlight Valley is a magical land filled with Dreamlight and characters from some of the world’s most famous Disney movies. Your goal is to collect Dreamlight to perform spells, help your friends, and bring them back home. One of those friends is Elsa, who you’ll meet in the Open-world game before you can bring her home. Here’s what you need to do to unlock the Frozen Realm door in Dreamlight Valley.
How to Unlock the Frozen Realm in Dreamlight Valley
To unlock the Frozen Realm in Dreamlight Valley and bring Elsa back home, you first need to gain access. Head up to the second floor of the Castle in Dreamlight Valley and knock on the door. A Dreamlight Spirit appears to explain that you need Founder’s Tools to open the Frozen Realm.
The Founder’s Tools are the Fishing Rod, upgraded shovel, pickaxe, watering can, and axe. You should already have the fishing rod, with the first upgrade requiring materials such as softwood, hardwood, and tinkering parts.
Once you have the upgraded shovel, it takes only a few seconds to clear the pathway to the Forest of Valor. From here, you can head to the Ice Cavern to find Elsa’s new home.
How to Officially Invite Elsa to Dreamlight Valley
Taking a photo of the Ice Cavern is essential, as it’s part of Anna’s handwritten invite. Bring this photo and the invite back to the Frozen Realm, along with Anna, to officially invite Elsa to join you in Dreamlight Valley.
Once you’ve returned to Dreamlight Valley, Elsa will follow you back, with a brief introductory welcome sequence. She won’t formally move into her new home until you complete Anna’s first two friendship quests, “The Spirits of Nature” and “Welcoming Anna.”
The Frozen Realm is just one of many open-world games available right now, but with its incredible cast of characters, it’s certainly one of the best. Get to know the rest of the Dreamlight Valley characters and their roles, as some quests are interconnected. Assign characters to their best roles, such as mining or gardening, to earn extra materials and friendship points.
Finally, don’t forget to discuss with characters and gift them their favorite items to increase your friendship points. Elsa has ten levels, so you’ll want to work on her questline along with Anna and Kristoff’s. Leveling up Elsa’s friendship rewards you with various items, such as hairstyles, motifs, star coins, gloves, and an ice throne.
Her final friendship reward is obtained by completing her mission, “The Ice Cavern Mystery.” This involves finding the final crest for the ice mural and gathering specific items, such as a seabird feather and frozen flower.
The Ice Cavern mystery takes you on a short but scenic journey through the Enchanted Forest, gathering items in the Forest of Valor and Frozen Heights.
