The Witcher 3: Treasure Hunt: Coast of Wrecks tasks Geralt with investigating the region’s coastal waters for a trio of chests. Each chest contains loot and diagrams that may prove tremendously helpful early in Geralt's journey through one of the best PC games of this year.
These Witcher 3 treasure hunt locations can be lucrative for Geralt, but this particular one requires him to search the coast southwest of Novigrad, near the Widow’s Grotto Fast Travel point. When Geralt swims out to the trio of tiny islands, he discovers a chest containing an old letter. With his Witcher Senses, the chest glows red, but it is guarded by a mucknixer and a particularly aggressive drowner. Geralt must first deal with the necrophages.

In a fairly large search area, there are three more chests. One is sunken underwater, just below the surface northwest of the letter-containing chest, and another is sunken in an underwater cave further out between the islands, protected by about three or four drowners.
The third and final chest sits on the shore of the southernmost island, next to a fairly large explosive barrel – potentially, the perfect thing to take care of any threats that may still exist out on the water. Finally, there’s one located at the south edge of the search area, on the same southernmost island.
