Fallout 3 Vault Boy Bobbleheads

Are you looking for the location of all the Vault Boy bobbleheads in Fallout 3? As the main game would have you know, there are Vault Boy Bobbleheads scattered through the game world. These iconic collectibles can increase your skills or S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats. Thankfully, we’ve got all of the location details for the bobbleheads.

Securing all 22 Fallout 3 Vault Boy Bobbleheads is part and parcel of the exploratory joy of Bethesda games. While some bobbleheads are easy to find, requiring no additional effort beyond walking to the marker and pressing interact, others will require you to perform some light, and not so light, exploration. Thankfully, none of the locations or collectibles in the all-time best PC game comes with any risks attached, though you will dig around in some less-than-pristine areas. Here is every Vault Boy bobblehead location in the open-world game.

Vault Boy Bobblehead Locations

Here are all the Vault Boy bobbleheads in Fallout 3, and the location they can be found:

Lucas Simms’ house in Megaton is home to one of the earlier bobbleheads. Perception is all about increasing your range of vision and being able to detect things you can’t always see. As such, it makes sense that this bobblehead is hidden away (unless Simms has a talent for picking locks). Vault Boy, in a sniper’s perch, is slightly northeast of Megaton, easily seen by the crosshairs on the map.

The Museum of Dave is home to a Vault Boy bobblehead. No prizes for guessing which of the Fallout 3 bobbleheads this one corresponds to – it’s perception. As with the Perception bobblehead, there’s no reason to lock it up with a difficult lock, so there’s no reason not to check the museum out. It’s in a similar area to the Perception bobblehead, on the second floor, to the left of the gift shop.

This bobblehead is incredibly easy to miss. Vault Boy is right above the entrance to the Republic of Dave, which is, at first, inaccessible. Only once you complete the Trouble on the Homefront quest and destroy the Republican palace will you be granted access to this corner of the mountain. Vault Boy here is near Argyle’s corpse, which itself is hidden right at the back of Rockopolis.

To find Vault Boy’s location, look on the surface map. You’ll notice a building attached to an ominous sphere looking thing. There is a small entrance to the right that you can use to end up in Vault Boy’s nook.

In the Disposal Site, there’s an office building further up from the radioactive waste compactors. In this building is Vault Boy again – this time it’s Agility, whose skill governs your movement speed, stance value, and weapon reload speed.

The Arlington House basement is where you can easily find Vault Boy’s bobblehead. It’s in the locked basement area, accessible with the key you get from Ashbury after completing the Blood Ties quest.

You have to go to the bar in the disused factory. Right at the back is a nook with Vault Boy. Finding this bobblehead gives you the Luck stat boost.

This vault boy bobblehead can be found in the basement of Arlington House, right at the bottom of the stairs. It comes with a Luck boost. Easy to miss, but not well hidden.

This particular bobblehead is in the large cavern leading to the northern end of the Evergreen Mills. As you enter, turn right and go down some tunnels. There’s a tall rock formation here with Vault Boy on top. He bestows upon you the stat boost of increased critical chance.

Next, there’s Vault Boy bobblehead location in the Science Lab area of Rivet City. As you enter the room with pastel waterfalls, look to your right – Vault Boy will be visible on a line of tables.

You get the Medicine bobblehead during the Strictly Business mission, either before or after the G.O.A.T exam. If you want to keep your new skill boosts secret, drop the bobblehead on the way out of the room – you can get it again on your way back to the morgue.

This particular bobblehead is in the Virulent Underchambers, site of the Dunwich horror mission. Visibly, there is.
