Learn the Time-Bending Skills of the Psijic Order

Want to find all the time breaches in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO)? We got our hands on the Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset – Psijic Order skill line when we went hands-on with the fantasy game at QuakeCon 2019. These time-bending skills allow players to bend space and time itself, and they will get to try them out for themselves once the new update lands this month.

The Iliac Bay is the region most players will be familiar with if they have dabbled in ESO lore before. Staying true to the Elder Scrolls lore, players will delve right into the heart of the cosmopolitan area to learn the powers of the Psijic Order. Once they close all the time breaches, they will unlock access to the magical land of Artaeum – so let’s jump right into the locations of all the time breaches in Stormhaven, Glenumbra, and Alik’r Desert.

Where to Find All Time Breaches in ESO

All of the time breaches are found in mostly the same areas but in different phases, in different zones, and with varying numbers of enemies. Time breaches only have a short time frame to be closed, so players will have to be on the ball and get to the spots quickly if they want to master this whole Psijic Order thing.

Here are the locations for all the time breaches in ESO:

Stormhaven:

While there are four time breaches in Stormhaven, players only need to close three to progress through the Psijic Order skill line. The first one unlocks upon completion of ‘Home Again’, one of the main storyline quests in Stormhaven. It is located near Koeglin Lighthouse, inside the hull of a half-sunken ship on a lone isle. Players will be attacked by a horde of hostile Stormhaven Gens.

The second time breach is found near Cumberland Falls, at the top of the waterfall. Players will find it guarded by hostile Supernal Dreamers. Completing this quest leads to the ‘Sleep No More’ quest, where players will encounter a lady known as Heather Iunas.

The final time breach in Stormhaven is situated near Moonlit Maw cave, where players will encounter Supernal Dreamers and scamps.

Glenumbra:

In Glenumbra, players will find three time breaches rather than four. The first is located north of Daenia Dolmen and south of Deleyn’s Mill. Players will face off with hostile creatures like hedgehogs, foxes, and jackdaws, along with some undead for good measure.

The second time breach in Glenumbra is between the Beldama Wyrd Tree, where players acquired the Wyrd Tree Guardian abilities, and the Burial Mounds, where they have to fend off zombies and Bloodthorn Ravagers, who are far from ceremonial in this matter.

The final time breach in Glenumbra can be found between Cath Bedraud and the Burial Mounds, guarded by zombies and Bloodthorn Ravagers. This time breach can be quite difficult to find, and players may resort to fast-traveling to the Burial Mounds and walking south to find it.

Alik’r Desert:

In Alik’r Desert, players only have one time breach to contend with. As they're fond of saying to an Alik’r soldier, it is easy to be lost out in the desert, even without the space-time shenanigans. The first time breach is located close to the Easterly Aerie, at the base of a rocky hill. There are usually some enemies in the area, like cursemoths and harpies.

The second time breach in Alik’r Desert is located in the Salas En Ruins, atop a rocky hill near the edge. Players will have normal foes in the area such as hyenas and lions.

The final and most difficult time breach to find is between Ragnthar and Hoonding’s Watch. Floating above a barren stretch of sandy plains, players will be attacked by Alik’r Warriors and possibly an Alik’r Champion or two.

So there you have it, all the locations of the time breaches in Elder Scrolls Online. Don't forget to check out the locations of Elder Scrolls Artaeum flowers and arteum lockboxes once you finally find Artaeum itself. For more lore, we’ve got everything you need.
