How to get the Stardew Valley Magnifying Glass
To activate this quest, go to the Bus Stop area from your Farm during Winter between 6 am and 4 pm. You’ll see a suspicious figure resembling Krobus working behind the counter. When you approach him, he’ll dash away in fear. Follow the footprints in the snow to a bush near the playground north of the town square.
Scare the figure by interacting with the bush, and he will confess. As a punishment for his deeds, he gives you the Magnifying Glass as a “reward”.
What is the Stardew Valley Magnifying Glass?
The Magnifying Glass is a special item that allows you to find Secret Notes all over the Valley. These notes contain information about your loved gifts, hidden items, and character lore. There are 25 Secret Notes in total, obtainable through activities such as chopping weeds, defeating monsters, and fishing.
Secret Notes have their own dedicated tab in the menu, so they don’t take up inventory space. Simply going about your daily Stardew Valley life should result in finding Secret Notes, although it’s more likely you’ll discover them during specific activities.
