The Sims 4: Horse Ranch - Age Up Horses

Want to know how to age up your brand-new horse quickly? The Sims 4: Horse Ranch offers horse lovers a dream experience, but it’s not all ponies and lollipops. You’ll need to learn the aging milestones for horses in the game. Horses can be obtained as foals, adults, or elders through creation, purchase, or rescue.

Each horse type ages at a different rate, with foals taking eight in-world days to age up to adults. Adults do not age for an additional 50 days. To age up your horse quickly, visit Bits & Bales Mercantile in Chestnut Ridge and buy an Age-Up Treat for 150 Simoleons. Feed the Age-Up Treat to a foal to make it an adult, or to an adult to make it an elder. However, you cannot feed an Age-Up Treat to an elder horse.

Sims can only pet, groom, and interact with horses of the same age or older. However, adult horses can engage in skill-building, competitions, and more. The pack offers opportunities for new looks, choices, and experiences as horses age.
