The World of Warcraft 10.1.5 Update

The World of Warcraft 10.1.5 update introduces the ability to learn Riding Skills automatically and for free, and a quest to earn a free flying mount is also being added to the MMORPG game. The quest will reward players with a free flying mount once they reach level 30 and unlock the ability to fly, meaning you no longer need to spend gold to learn the skill or purchase a mount.

This is a big change for World of Warcraft, as it marks a significant milestone in the history of the game. Just like the Class trainers, the Riding trainers have now become obsolete. Now, the only thing you need to worry about is keeping your dragon alive.

If you already have a character above level 30, you still have the chance to complete the Time to Fly quest and receive the free flying mount. Each faction has a different mount available, so you’ll have the potential to obtain two new flying mounts.

Where to find the WoW Time to Fly quest

To find the WoW Time to Fly quest for each faction, Horde players should head to Dazar’alor and locate the Stable Master, while Alliance players should go to Boralus Harbor and find the Stable Master at the flight master end of the professions area. The quest should automatically pop up for characters leveling to 30, but for characters already above level 30, you’ll need to go to the respective locations mentioned above.

The easiest way to reach these locations is via the portal room in either Orgrimmar or Stormwind. Once you complete the quest, Horde players will receive the Scarlet Pterrordax flying mount, while Alliance players will be rewarded with the Harbor Gryphon.

This change marks a significant milestone in the history of World of Warcraft, as it allows the Riding trainers to retire with enough gold for a comfortable future. In addition to the Time to Fly quest, the World of Warcraft 10.1.5 update also introduces Dragonflight leveling, talents, Evokers, dragonriding, Glyphs, and professions.

With all of these new features, you’ll have more opportunities to enhance your dragonriding experience. If you’re looking for the perfect companion for your journey through the world of Azeroth, be sure to check out our guide on the best World of Warcraft pets.
