If you've got a WoW Dilated Time Capsule, you might be wondering where you can spend it, and it turns out that the answer is a very specific vendor in the latest Time Rift event.
Want to know where to find the WoW Dilated Time Capsule vendor? Along with Time Rifts, the Fractures in Time mid-season patch brings plenty of notable updates, including a third evoker specialization, a new mega-dungeon, and a big quality-of-life change which means that characters will automatically learn the riding skill as they level. One of the new items, however, is a bit of a mystery, and you’re probably wondering what you’re even supposed to do with it.
The WoW Dilated Time Capsule is one of the new currencies that can be obtained during one of the new Time Rift events. As you might expect, you can spend this new currency at a vendor in exchange for gear, but it’s not immediately clear where in the Dragon Isles this NPC might be. Thankfully, it’s not a particularly difficult one to track down, and you’ll be able to start farming Dilated Time Capsules for yourself pretty quickly.
WoW Dilated Time Capsule vendor location
As mentioned, the vendor you’re looking for can be found to the northeast of Tyrhold Reservoir in Thaldraszus. You’ll likely recognise this area from the opening quests for the Dragonflight expansion, as it’s where you’re sent to meet the giant Shi Everbreeze. This time around, however, she’s a little more … diminutive.
Seated on top of an unlit brazier to the left of, and slightly behind, the other vendors, Shi Everbreeze is a female Pandaren. She sells 402 item-level catch-up gear, which you can unlock by spending your Dilated Time Capsules. These pieces can then be upgraded to 424, which is a pretty nice little perk to ensure that you don’t feel locked into the gear your alts are wearing at the start of a new expansion.
So, there you have it: the WoW Dilated Time Capsule vendor location. This is an excellent way to gear up freshly leveled alts and get them ready for some of the tough endgame activities that await you in the Fractures in Time patch notes. As for Dilated Time Capsules themselves, it turns out that they’re a bit of a mystery. While they’re a reward for completing the weekly quest from Soridormi; When Time Needs Mending, it appears that they aren’t a guaranteed drop from these boxes, though whether that’s intentional or some kind of bug is currently unclear.
Dilated Time Capsules also have a chance to drop from Time Rift bosses, though you’ll need to rely on the RNG gods if you want more, as they aren’t a guaranteed drop either. Thankfully, Time Rifts happen every hour, so you’ll have plenty of chances to farm them.
