How to unlock the secret Blasphemous 2 character
Blasphemous 2 has a secret character that you can unlock if you complete a long and arduous quest involving a platforming challenge, a manuscript, and some soup.
Wondering how to unlock the secret character in Blasphemous 2? The Souls-like game has numerous cryptic characters and grotesque situations. One such quest involves our bickering siblings Cástula and Trifón. Trifón desires Cástula’s head scarf, which you can obtain using a platforming challenge involving Veredicto and Sarmiento & Centella. However, he won’t take it unless you get his manuscript, which involves another platforming challenge.
How to get Cástula’s Remembrance
You can obtain Cástula’s Remembrance by heading to the Crown of Towers. You’ll notice a platforming challenge that requires you to use Veredicto and Sarmiento & Centella to obtain Cástula’s head scarf.
Make sure to use Sarmiento & Centella to grab ahold of Veredicto and then use Veredicto to grab the scarf. Return to the Palace of the Embroideries and head to the siblings’ room. Enter from the correct side, and you’ll find Cástula in her usual position, dead.
How to get Trifón’s Remembrance
You can obtain Trifón’s Remembrance by heading to the Forlorn Patio and buying it for 6,000 Tears of Atonement. Once you have it, take it to the Master Sculptor for the respective Altarpieces.
Trifón’s Altarpiece increases damage when low on health. Cástula’s Altarpiece increases damage when low on guilt. Completing Trifón’s questline also makes Cástula stay dead, so you can’t reunite the siblings.
The achievement The Two Old Ones Eating Soup suggests the siblings can be reunited, but it doesn’t work as intended. The description reads, “Sure, they might be reunited, but they’re sure to be just as irritating as ever.” The achievement itself doesn’t provide any useful traits or resonance for the siblings.
In any case, you can achieve the achievement by obtaining both Altarpieces and placing them facing each other on the Altar. This unlocks the achievement, but it doesn’t seem to provide any useful traits or resonance for the siblings.
That’s everything you need to know about the Blasphemous 2 siblings. For more guides, take a look at the following:
