Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty changes gameplay

The trailer for Phantom Liberty showcases new ways to play, including vehicle combat and enhanced AI that ensure that you never feel like you’re fighting alone. CDPR has learned from past mistakes and is focused on creating a realistic experience, with bugs and technical issues having been significantly reduced through updates.

I played through the first few hours of Phantom Liberty, and can confirm that these gameplay changes are immediately apparent. The over-arching changes to the perk system ensure that you’re not locked into a single playstyle, while the police engagement has been significantly improved to create a more involving and realistic experience.

This is most apparent while driving, with the AI reacting significantly faster and more aggressively than in the base game.
