Diablo 4 Swords Labeled Incorrectly

Diablo 4 enthusiasts have recently discovered a significant issue with the game's weapons. A Reddit user has pointed out that almost all of the swords in Diablo 4 are mislabeled, with incorrect weapon types and names.

While the accuracy of weapon labels may not be a top priority for Blizzard's RPG game, sword enthusiasts and dedicated Diablo players find these errors quite bothersome. According to the Reddit user, nearly every two-handed sword in the game is mislabeled as a single-handed sword. This labeling error extends beyond just the weapon name, affecting the stats and appearance as well. It appears to be a programming mistake related to the weapon arrays rather than a lack of knowledge on the part of the developers.

For instance, the Claymore, Flamberge, and Kingslayer, which are supposed to be listed as two-handed swords, are all labeled as bastard swords. The only actual Claymore in the game is mislabeled as a two-handed sword with identical stats to the bastard sword. This mislabeling pattern is consistent across the two-handed swords in Diablo 4.

Similar mislabeling issues have also been observed with other sections of the armory. For example, one-handed swords like the 'double axe' only have a single axe blade, and the 'poleaxe' lacks an axe head.

These errors are most likely programming mistakes rather than a lack of knowledge on the developers' part. The game contains correct listings for each weapon, indicating that the mislabels are not accidental. It simply requires fixing the code to resolve these issues.

While these mislabeled swords may not significantly impact gameplay, they do require a minor fix from Blizzard. Hopefully, the issue will be addressed promptly to ensure a more accurate gaming experience.
