Looking for the best Diablo 4 endgame build? Our endgame build is all about making the best of a single skill using multiple active and passive abilities. Storm Strike is the key ability of this build, but we’ve also selected additional skills that are all meant to synergise with its effects. With enough skill, this build is capable of devastating a huge area of the map with a single action.
If you love highly skilled builds, you’ll love our Diablo 4 endgame build. Any increase in damage from any of the abilities in this build can lead to devastating effects as it pulls in other skills that are designed to synergise with each other for maximum damage. While it may not be a viable way to play its 5v5 mode, our Diablo 4 endgame build makes an incredibly compelling argument for being the best single-targeting character in the action RPG game.
Diablo 4 endgame build overview
The Diablo 4 endgame build is:
This build is all about Storm Strike. The demon hunter uses their signature lightning attack to strike three times with two chakrams, stunning all enemies hit. Completing this initial channel causes the electricity to strike again, dealing even more damage with its additional chains. Diablo 4’s mobility features further this damage by usually keeping the demon hunter far enough away to hit multiple enemies with the full extent of their attack.
In terms of additional abilities for this build, the skills chosen here exclusively add effects to Storm Strike. This can lead to devastating opportunities as every additional skill increases Storm Strike’s damage as well as the chance to stun on every hit. With enough skill, a single attack can stun multiple enemies, freeze any on the ground, and inject them with poison – an impressive multi-hit by veteran players of the Diablo series.
The passives for this build put further emphasis on stuns and lightning-based damage if possible. The Eye of the Storm ability simply gives additional chances to stun, while Updraft also adds bonus lightning damage. Each ability thrives on the presence of other ones in this build and when used correctly, so even small passive bonuses to damage or stun effects can have deadly outcomes.
The additional pieces to this build are simply the best items in Diablo 4 that seem to synergise well with the rest of the build. As new item sets and items arrive in the ultimate RPG game, this is the first opportunity for players to get access to the Thundergod’s Vigor. Combining two powerful legendary items, this belt and ring combo take a luck-based proc from Thundergod’s Might and negates its weakness: physical damage. In return, you get a lightning damage bonus every time you crit, instead of every time you hit. For even more mobility, the wolf’s cloak returns for its second appearance in the series, providing a defensive bonus with an added mobility bonus. Both items use earlier parts of the Diablo 4 Chalice of Overflow, the latest dungeon in the game, to farm.
Possessing the Angel of Death can be a powerful thing and our Diablo 4 endgame build reflects that view. Storm Strike may not be useful against every enemy in the game, but controlling potentially every enemy along with every demon is quite a power fantasy.
