With the Diablo 4 Lilith overtaking the world of the videogame, the Blizzard title’s fight against the nightmarish queen has turned out to be an extraordinary challenge. Thankfully, one player has reached the Hardcore 100 achievement and taken down Uber Lilith, which is a significant Diablo 4 milestone. If you’re struggling against Lilith yourself, there are some Lilith community nightfall strategies and Lilith Solo Lilith boss strategies that might help, too.
Reaching the Hardcore 100 achievement first, Twitch streamer and “gamer just trying to game” Ben takes advantage of an oddity in the barbarian’s Whirlwind skill. As reported via the Diablo Wiki site Wowhead, Whirlwind apparently snapshots a damage-increasing buff from Wrath of the Berserker’s second upgrade, Supreme Wrath of the Berserker.
By endlessly channeling Whirlwind right after activating Wrath of the Berserker, the buff never seems to fall off and increases damage endlessly based on Fury spent instead. It’s possible that something else is happening to cause the damage boost, like a different bug or exploit, but that’s what it sure looks like.
Regardless, Ben’s success in killing Uber Lilith is a milestone achievement in Diablo 4, especially considering that it’s an extraordinarily challenging fight. You have to have defeated the campaign and reached World Tier 4, Diablo 4’s highest difficulty level, to even meet Echo of Lilith.
Reaching the Hardcore 100 achievement and then taking down Uber Lilith is a significant accomplishment, especially given how tough it sounds pre-release. In a recent interview with GamesRadar, associate game director Joe Piepiora said the fight is meant to be “extraordinarily, extraordinarily challenging” and that players must take their class, understand their build, and maximise all they can about it in order to maybe take it down.
And now, there’s a new boss to take out after Lilith, too. Once Lilith has been properly dealt with, you can continue on the live-service grind to take your character all the way to the maximum level of 100. And even then, there are future updates to come like Diablo 4 Dark Paradis, the upcoming Diablo 4 DLC, and more besides.
