  • The Twisting Blades skill and its importance in this build
  • How to make use of Shadow Step and Dash to clear rooms and dungeons effortlessly
  • The skill priority list for this build
  • The recommended skills to upgrade and when
  • The Subterfuge and Inner Sight skill trees and their respective abilities

Skill Priority

This is the Twisting Blades Rogue skill priority list:

You will want to pick up and keep the basic skill, Puncture, as it generates Energy, the Rogue's main mana resource. Additionally, it allows you to apply Vulnerable debuffs to enemies, aiding in faster clears.

After acquiring Puncture, the next priority is upgrading Twisting Blades with your skill points. These two skills are the cornerstone of this build, greatly improving your mobility. For a Twisting Blades Rogue, it is highly recommended to use both Dash and Shadow Step. Once you have these skills, consider acquiring Shadow Clone as soon as possible.

Subterfuge Tree

Upon reaching the Subterfuge Skill tree, you will have a choice between Dark Shroud and Concealment. While Dark Shroud is considered the best ability for an endgame Twisted Blades build, if you are rushing through World Tier 1, Concealment is the more sensible option.

Although some Twisting Blades builds make use of Poison or Shadow Imbuement, we found them to be slower during testing. Therefore, it is recommended to focus on the abilities mentioned earlier.

The majority of Rogue leveling builds utilize Momentum for its conditional buffs. Siphoning Strikes is crucial for regenerating health above the 80% threshold to activate the Damage While Healthy buff. Exploit and Malice provide additional flat damage boosts.

Inner Sight Tree

At level 20, the first specialization to pick up is Inner Sight. Beeline for the Bladedancer's Aspect and the Edgemaster's Aspect.
