How to complete The Swamp’s Protection quest
In order to complete The Swamp’s Protection quest, you need to deliver three pieces of medicine to three townspeople around the swamp. They show up as blue circles on the map, which means that you need to climb on your trusty steed.
Since you’re already at Timue’s Hovel, we recommend going to the west and finding Baridan. He’s located inside the house, although he’s not the person that you need to speak to. Instead, go to the back room, break the barrel, and grab the medicine.
From here, go west to find Duraya (west of Baridan). You’ll notice that a group of bandits are threatening her, but if you quickly give her the medicine, they won’t attack.
Then, head north a bit to find Raldin, who is also northeast of Duraya but doesn’t have a waypoint yet. Thankfully, a yellow circle on the map bugs you about the impending threat of bandits.
Raldin will give you a device that the town uses to communicate — specifically, to call for help from nearby Rogues. After speaking to him, a wave of bandits will appear, so go on the offensive, slaying them all while finding the final medicine.
Finally, you’ll be sent to a bandit camp. Once again, go on the offensive, eliminating all the bandits in the camp. Not only will you receive a good amount of XP after you deliver the last blow to the leader, you’ll also obtain some resources and gold, too.
