How to play Diablo 4 seasons
Diablo 4 seasons will be available at launch, and will be a recurring feature throughout the game’s lifespan. Each season follows a specific theme, introducing a new story that impacts the game. To participate in a season, you’ll need to create a new seasonal character in the Seasonal realm.
The Seasonal realm is only accessible after completing the campaign with another character, so if you’re planning on completing the campaign first, make sure your seasonal character is ready to go. Once you’ve beaten the campaign, you’ll be able to create a seasonal character, and they’ll be transferred to the Eternal Realm when the season ends, allowing you to continue playing as them.
Some content is available for free, while other premium content requires the purchase of the battle pass. The battle pass offers different tiers and rewards, including character skins and mounts.
You can purchase the battle pass instantly through your Battle.net account or in-game through the Shop tab. The starting and ending dates of each season will be clearly displayed in-game, and while you’ll be able to play the majority of content without purchasing the battle pass, you’ll need to purchase it if you want to access all of the season’s content.
