Disney Illusion Island Boss Fights

Looking for information on the Disney Illusion Island boss fights? If you’re in the midst of a boss fight, you probably don’t want to be here. That said, we’re here to guide you through the unique and challenging encounters in Disney Illusion Island.

As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter various enemies and tricky platforming sections. You won’t be able to progress until you’ve learned how to overcome these challenges. The Disney Illusion Island bosses don’t require any combat skills. Instead, you’ll need to utilise previously learned Abilities and platforming skills to complete mini-puzzles and challenges.

Traverse the perilous jungle and face off against Thief #2 in the Disney Illusion Island boss fight. You’ll need to be quick on your feet and careful with your movements. The first phase of the encounter involves swinging on hooks to break the ice and deal damage to the boss. Once you’ve damaged Thief #2 enough, he’ll try and escape. In the second phase, you’ll need to traverse a new arena layout while avoiding Venus Fly Traps and rolling enemies. Finally, you’ll need to execute precise traversal in the final phase, evading spiked rocks while ascending air streams to reach the hooks.

Thief #2 Boss Fight Strategies

The first phase of the encounter tasks you with swinging on hooks to break the ice on Thief #2’s body. This will cause the boss to take damage and become stunned. You can use Hookshot to pull targets from afar, but you’ll have more success starting from the top hook to pull the first target. From here, you can swing to the second target and break the ice, then swing from the second target to the third. Defeating Thief #2 requires breaking the ice on all four hooks.

The second phase introduces a new arena layout with Venus Fly Traps and rolling enemies. None of these pose a threat, so you can focus on traversing the area. You’ll want to use the Glide Ability to reach far platforms and grapple hooks. Starting with the top hook is recommended since it’s closer to the arena’s exit.

The third phase is the most challenging. You’ll be asked to reach four hooks split into pairs. These are placed high on opposite walls and require the use of Glide Ability to reach. The arena consists of a series of air streams, allowing you to ascend while avoiding spiked rocks. You’ll need to be quick on your feet, as the air streams will disappear once you’ve reached the hooks.

This phase is highly dependent on your ability to traverse the air and keep the correct trajectory. While this may seem trivial, you’ll need to avoid spiked rocks while ascending, which will add an additional challenge. If you fail to reach a hook, you can simply start from the beginning and try again.

That’s everything you need to know about the Disney Illusion Island boss fights. While the game does feature a few combat encounters, the boss fights focus on platforming skills.
