How to get the Ground Pound Ability in Disney Illusion Island
In Disney Illusion Island, you can obtain the Ground Pound Ability as a reward for completing a quest. This is one of several quests in the game that rewards you with an ability.
To start the quest, complete the “I’ll Be A Smuggler’s Uncle” quest and find Mazzy. He can be found west of the Checkpoint, tinkering at his workbench. Reach Mazzy by jumping on a moving platform and using the Bell to move another platform. From there, jump to the right platforms, perform a Wall Jump, and continue heading west.
Eventually, you’ll drop down into an area. Follow the path to Mazzy and chat with him. After obtaining the Ground Pound Ability, complete a few remaining tasks that involve backtracking. One task is to reach the teleporter in the Library. On the way, meet Dash Dolphin, a photographer who gives you a camera to snap photos near Mickey Mouse Ears-like objects.
Break through another floor and reach Gizmopolis, which leads to the Library. Interact with the UFO-like object in the Library to teleport near Canopy.
Break through the ground and head northwest to reach Canopy. Dex is no longer there, triggering a cutscene. This completes the quest.
