The Things Are Looking Up Quest

The Disney Illusion Island Things Are Looking Up Quest is one of the early quests in the game. There are a few puzzles that require you to locate keys, but overall, it’s pretty straightforward. This quest becomes available after completing the Tutorial Quests ‘What’s That Sound?’ and ‘A Lead… Kinda’.

This quest has five tasks, but you’ll spend most of your time in the Overgrown Farmlands area. The first task introduces locked doors and the concept of finding keys to open them. Two locked doors require keys, so you’ll need to head to Mazzy to obtain the Wall Jump Ability. Once you have this ability, you can reach new areas by wall jumping off of walls and platforms.

Find the Things Are Looking Up Quest and Wall Jump Ability

The Things Are Looking Up Quest tasks are as follows:

This quest has you backtrack through an area you’ve already been to, so the only thing you have to worry about is using your Wall Jump Ability to reach new areas.

The first Locked Door requires one Key. You can find this Key directly above it. After you open the Locked Door, you get the Wall Jump Ability from Mazzy.

For the second Locked Door, head west to reach an elevated platform. From here, jump to the right to reach another platform. Continue going eastward until you reach the top right exit. Use the Boost Jump Ability to go even further east.

There are three Keys for this Locked Door. The first Key is in an upper left corner. The second Key is acquired by using bounce pads to reach an uppermost platform. The third Key is located in a large room with spikes, a Cactus enemy, and bounce pads.

After obtaining all three Keys, you can open the Locked Door. This grants you access to the next area. You can find this area by heading west from the second Locked Door.

That’s all there is to the Things Are Looking Up Quest in Disney Illusion Island. You’ll have to repeat this process for the remaining Tasks, but the paths are linear and are guided by the game’s waypoints. When you’re done with this Quest, you can move on to the The Dive Is Over Quest in Disney Illusion Island.
