Disney Illusion Island final boss - Old Timer

To beat Disney Illusion Island's boss fight against Old Timer, you'll need to master the Deep Dive and Deep Dive Ram abilities. You'll also need to think fast and use your platforming skills to their fullest in this challenging battle in Moon Juice.

This challenging battle is the final test in Illusion Island. It takes place in Moon Juice, requiring you to use Deep Dive to traverse the liquid and Deep Dive Ram to break glowing objects. Throughout the fight, you'll have to deal with an increasing number of obstacles and enemies that increase in difficulty.

Phase One

In the first phase, you'll want to break glowing objects in Moon Juice using Deep Dive Ram. This will damage Old Timer. The battle takes place in Moon Juice, so you'll have to use Deep Dive to navigate the liquid and Ram to break objects.

In the first part of Phase One, you'll be navigating through two L-shaped pools of Moon Juice. Beams of energy will rotate around the edges of the pools, which can damage you if you touch them. There are also spikes in the second pool, which make navigation more difficult.

In the second part, the shape of the Moon Juice pools remains the same, but spikes have been added to the areas where the pools meet. The strategy for this section is the same as the first part.

The third part of this phase adds more spikes to the areas between the pools. The big change here is that there are now multiple objects to destroy. Be careful not to move too far from one pool to the next because you might accidentally touch a spinning beam or a spike.

Phase Two

In Phase Two, the Moon Juice pools will change shape. They'll be wider in the middle and narrower at the top and bottom. The areas between the pools will be filled with spikes.

The strategy for this phase is similar to Phase One, except that Old Timer now attacks in a counterclockwise direction. This means that you want to destroy the objects in the left pool first so that you can move to the right pool easily.

The second part of Phase Two is exactly the same as the previous round. The only thing to note is that the spikes are now present, but they shouldn't change your strategy.

The third part of Phase Two is very similar to the second part, except that spikes are now at the top and bottom. This means that you'll have to be careful between the pools, making sure you don't accidentally touch a spike.

Phase Three

In Phase Three, the Moon Juice will have changed to four pools. Each pool has a different number of objects that you have to destroy. In addition to spikes, there will be other obstacles like pillars of fire and electricity to watch out for.

In this phase, each pool has a different number of objects. Old Timer will alternate between well-telegraphed patterns. You'll want to use Star Bridges to navigate between pools and heal at the Hearts if you need to.
