Incredible colored pencil artwork brings Master Chief to life
The colored pencil drawing of Master Chief shared by the artist behind it is easily one of the most impressive pieces of Halo fan art we’ve ever seen. The armor texture and shading is absolutely mind-blowing, and I can safely say that I’ll never look at Master Chief the same way again now that I’ve seen this.
The artist is actually a woman, but we thought it necessary to mention this since you wouldn’t see it from their work. The piece was shared on Reddit by the artist, who says that Master Chief is her favorite video game character of all time. I can’t think of a higher compliment than that.
“I’ve always been interested in art, but I never considered traditional art because of how expensive it is,” one Redditor says. “I’ve only ever done digital art and I’m still learning, but this inspires me to get into traditional art. Thanks!”
“I was never good with art, but this is inspiring,” another says. “I’ve been trying to learn more about art and I think this is a great way to start.”
The artwork receives numerous compliments, with words like “incredible,” “amazing,” and “unreal” being used. One even expresses their love for Master Chief because of the drawing.
“Wow, Master Chief is my favourite character too and this drawing is soo good,” one person says. “I love how you made his armor look like it’s made out of metal even though it’s just pencil. And the shading on his face… Omg, I love it!”
