Immortals of Aveum: A Promising Indie Triple-A Game

A new indie game with Triple-A aspirations led by developers who worked on a range of notable indie games and is backed by publisher Little Orbit brings an impressive Voice Cast to its debut title. Led by Anshu Mukherjee, who previously worked on the indie hit Forspoken and developed Ghostwire: Tokyo, Immortals of Aveum boasts a cast of Hollywood talent.

Starring Darren Barnet, or “Daz” from Never Have I Ever, as the protagonist, the Triple-A game’s cast includes Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson in Suits, and Lily Cowles, who appeared in Roswell, New Mexico. The full cast is as follows:

  • Barnet plays “D”, a magic-wielding protagonist who finds himself involved in the Everwar. The antagonist, Sandrakk, is a brutal figure responsible for the war, and the actors behind the voices of D’s companions all bring a wealth of experience from movies, TV shows, and video games.

Immortals of Aveum is still without a release date, but it certainly seems to be generating interest from all angles. The game is billed as a combination of “Forspoken,” “Ghostwire: Tokyo,” and “Doom,” so if you’re a fan of any of those games and recognize the names of the developers and cast, it might be worth keeping an eye on this one.
