Pokemon Go Rocket Grunt Counters

Your main counter across all Rocket Grunt battles is going to be a strong lineup full of high CP Pokémon. You can mix and match your top picks as you see fit, but you’ll likely want to include some of the following types:

  • Psychic-types: While Psychic-types may use their unseen power, flying-types are the specialty of one Rocket Grunt, so come ready to take them on.
  • Cute Pokémon: Another Rocket Grunt boasts their cute Pokémon, but don’t let their adorable appearance fool you as they’re fierce battlers just the same.
  • Powerful lineup: The Rocket Grunts don’t want to see you tangling with their powerful lineup, so watch out for the one who is coiled and ready to strike with their Pokémon. You’ll also see a Pokémon unleash intense heat from its fire breath during battle, so be careful.
