The Pokemon Go Squirtle Community Day Classic Special Research tasks and rewards have been revealed ahead of the event taking place on July 8. If you’re a big fan of Squirtle, there are some exclusive rewards you can earn by completing the special research, so be sure to check it out.

Squirtle Community Day will take place on July 8 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time. In addition to the special three-hour long event, players with a ticket will be able to access the Squirtle Community Day Classic Special Research. This special research tasks and rewards will be exclusive to players who have a ticket for the event, so make sure you’re logged in with the right account.

Pokemon Go Squirtle Community Day Classic Special Research

The Pokemon Go Squirtle Community Day Classic Special Research tasks and rewards are as follows:

• Catch three Squirtle to complete the first task. Upon completion, you’ll receive 10 Poke Balls, 500 Stardust, and a Silver Pinap Berry.
• Evolving three Squirtle or Wartortle will complete the second task, with a Blastoise encounter being rewarded.
• Using a Berry to help catch three Pokemon will complete the third task, giving you 15 Great Balls, 1,000 Stardust, and a Gold Pinap Berry.
• Using an Incense and catching five Water-type Pokemon will finish the fourth task, rewarding you with a Lapras encounter.
• Powering up Pokemon three times will complete the fifth task, giving you 20 Ultra Balls, 1,500 Stardust, and a Silver Pinap Berry.
• Catching 15 Squirtle or Wartortle will complete the sixth task, rewarding you with a Blastoise encounter.
• Making three Great Curveball Throws will finish the seventh and final task, giving you 2,000 XP, 2,000 Stardust, and a Lapras encounter.

Squirtle Community Day shiny

It looks like Niantic is planning on giving us another shiny Pokemon during the Squirtle Community Day event, with Squirtle being the Pokemon of choice this time around. If you manage to catch one, you’ll be rewarded with a special Squirtle Community Day shiny medal.
