Pokemon Go trainers express disappointment with Go Plus+ device after release
Pokemon-go">Pokemon Go trainers are voicing their opinions on the newly released Go Plus+ accessory, with the device’s lights and vibration feature coming under fire from the community. Some players have even gone so far as to label the Go Plus+ as “cringe-worthy” due to its faults, despite the device’s ability to automatically catch Pokemon and spin PokeStops.
The issues stem from the Go Plus+’s lights and vibration effects, with many players saying that the device’s brightness is overwhelming and its vibration is uncomfortable.
“The vibration of this thing is way too strong,” one trainer writes. “Why the hell would you ever need it to vibrate that hard? It’s honestly almost painful. Absolutely cringe-worthy.”
“The light is so bright, I can’t even look at it,” another writes. “I tried switching it to a different colour but it doesn’t matter, I just can’t look at it.”
Other players have said that the device’s lights and vibration settings should be adjustable, with the option to change the device’s brightness and vibration strength on the Go Plus+ itself.
Despite the issues, the Go Plus+ has received praise for its automatic catching and spinning functions, as well as its battery life.
“It’s ridiculous how good the Go Plus+ is at spinning Pokestops and catching Pokemon,” one player writes. “The battery life is also very impressive.”
The Go Plus+ is the upgraded version of the original Go Plus, which was released in 2020. The device allows players to connect their smartphone to the Go Plus+ via Bluetooth, allowing them to play the game without constantly checking their phone.
Despite the criticisms regarding the Go Plus+’s lights and vibration, the accessory remains a popular choice among Pokemon Go players, with many praising its ability to improve gameplay and make catching Pokemon even easier.
“The Go Plus+ is the best accessory for Pokemon Go,” one trainer writes. “It makes catching so much easier and I’m so glad I bought it.”
The Go Plus+ is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, and can be purchased from a variety of retailers and online stores.
