A Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle has been revealed, and it looks absolutely sensational. Not only does Insomniac’s PS4 exclusive get a neat console design, but the DualShock controller gets its own unique treatment, too. It’s definitely one to consider, even if you’re already owners of Sony’s flagship.
The bundle includes a custom designed PlayStation 5, DualSense controller, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game code. The console and controller both feature a slick black symbiote skin, foreshadowing the impact the suit has on Peter Parker in the game.
If you already own a PlayStation 5 there’s nothing here that’s going to change your mind, but I think the design is appealing nonetheless. If you want the DualSense controller with the same symbiote skin, it’s available separately, but you’ll have to buy it separately.
Sony is also offering the faceplates separately if you already own a PS5, and you can just swap them out with the Spider-Man 2 design. The Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle and game are both available to pre-order.
Spider-Man 2 is the only Marvel’s Spider-Man game coming to PS5. There are no plans for a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Switch release, and the game isn’t coming to other consoles.
