Stardew Valley Forge

The forge on Floor 10 of the Volcano Dungeon is where players can transform their mundane equipment into masterpieces. Here, you can create the equipment of your dreams while also learning the best ways to farm Prismatic Shards, the materials needed for crafting, and the most effective recipes to use.

Enchanting Equipment

Once inside the forge, you will see a list of items available for enchantment. Below is a list of all the buffs in the game and the items that grant them:

  • Efficient: eliminates energy drain
  • Swift: increases tool use speed by 33 percent
  • Preserving: saves bait, tackle, wood, and hardwood
  • Vampiric: provides a 9 percent chance to regain health upon killing an enemy with a melee weapon
  • Crusader: deals 50 percent more damage to mummies, ghosts, skeletons, and void spirits
  • Generous: has a 50 percent chance of obtaining double items when digging with a hoe
  • The Shaving: gives extra wood and hardwood when equipped on a melee weapon

Efficient Enchantment

One of the most valuable enchantments is Efficient, as it eliminates energy drain for tools, allowing you to use them indefinitely. This is especially useful for mining, which typically consumes stamina. With an enchanted tool, you won't have to worry about running out of energy and can mine for longer periods without interruption.

Swift Enchantment

The Swift enchantment increases the use speed of all tools by 33 percent. This includes even farming ploughs, making the overall farming process more efficient and profitable. By saving time on tool usage, you can focus on other tasks and increase your farming profits in the long run.

Preserving Enchantment

The Preserving enchantment is particularly useful for weapons like the fishing pole and axe. It helps save bait and tackle when fishing, reducing the need for constant restocking. Additionally, the enchanted axe saves wood and hardwood when chopping trees, allowing you to gather more resources for crafting and selling.

Vampiric Enchantment

The Vampiric enchantment provides a 9 percent chance to regain health upon killing an enemy with a melee weapon. While not as useful for ranged combat, it can greatly increase your chances of survival against melee enemies such as ghouls, mummies, ghosts, skeletons, and void spirits. This enchantment is particularly advantageous when exploring caves and mining for valuable loot.

Crusader Enchantment

The Crusader enchantment deals 50 percent more damage to mummies, ghosts, skeletons, and void spirits. This makes it highly effective against these enemies, especially when encountered in large numbers. Consider investing in this enchantment if you frequently encounter these foes in your explorations.

Generous Enchantment

The Generous enchantment offers a 50 percent chance of obtaining double items when using a hoe to dig. This can greatly increase your chances of finding valuable treasures hidden beneath the earth. Whether you're searching for riches or Festival rewards, this enchantment will help you double your loot and profits.

The Shaving

The Shaving enchantment, when equipped on a melee weapon, provides extra wood and hardwood. This is particularly useful if you enjoy building or need a steady supply of these resources. With this enchantment, you'll gather more wood and hardwood with each swing of your weapon.
