Want to know more about the Stardew Valley Statue of Uncertainty? The Statue of Uncertainty is a mechanic that allows players to change their skills at will. Located in the Sewers of Pelican Town, this statue offers a chance to find rare items and is just one of the many secrets in Stardew Valley.
As players progress through the game, they will unlock different professions that offer more ways to generate income, improve their homes, and benefit the community. However, what happens when players are unsure about which path to take? That's where the Statue of Uncertainty comes in.
Stardew Valley Statue of Uncertainty Location
The Statue of Uncertainty is located in the Sewers of Pelican Town, which can be accessed by entering the Sewer hatch in the northeast corner of the map. Once players donate enough items to the Museum, they will receive the Rusty Key from Gunther. Using the key, players can open the locked door and find the statue.
Stardew Valley Statue of Uncertainty Costs
Players can interact with the Statue of Uncertainty at any point to change their professions. However, there is a cost associated with changing unlocked skills. Each profession change costs 10,000g, so it is recommended to only do so when necessary.
There are five skills available for profession changing: Farming, Mining, Foraging, Fishing, and Combat. At Level 5, players have two profession options for each skill, while at Level 10, there are four different choices depending on the initial selection.
Stardew Valley Profession Changing Effects
To change a profession, players simply need to choose the skill they want to change and go to bed. The next day, they will be prompted to select a new profession for that skill. If players have a second profession unlocked at Level 10, they will also need to choose that after selecting the desired Level 5 profession.
While players have the option to change professions every day, it is recommended to only do so when absolutely necessary.
