Starfield Skills

Want to know more about the Starfield skills? We've seen a lot of skills in the Bethesda game so far, with more likely to be revealed in the coming months. These skills are split into groups, with each covering a specific area. For example, there are skills focusing on improving your physical abilities, while others cover social abilities.

The Starfield skills revealed so far range from the obvious to the bizarre. Some skills are straightforward and enhance your damage output with weapons, while others are more abstract, offering unique benefits that can impact gameplay. In a similar way to Fallout 4, each skill in Starfield has its own unique effects and benefits. So far, we know of numerous skills in Starfield, and educated guesses can be made about others based on their category. While some skills are fairly straightforward, others, like those specific to social interactions, remain a mystery. Here is everything we know about Starfield skills so far.

As you can see, there are a lot of skills in Starfield, with many of them being combat-focused. This isn't too surprising given the Starfield trailer showed us plenty of action. However, these skills don't just affect how you fight, with many offering bonuses to the abilities you use in areas outside of combat, such as astrophysics, medicine, and more.

That said, there are some Starfield skills that remain a mystery. Concealment, Stealth, and Theft are all skills that we haven't heard anything about yet. We can assume that they're self-explanatory, but we don't know what they do. Likewise, the social skills like Bargaining, Commerce, and Outpost Management are a bit odd, but we don't know what they do yet.

We have seen some skills in action, however, with footage of gameplay shown at Bethesda's Starfield event. This gave us a small glimpse into what to expect from the space game, showcasing some of the skills in action. For example, we saw the Marksmanship skill in action, allowing us to see how it would improve damage and accuracy. You can check out everything we know about Starfield so far here.

The Starfield release date is set for 2023, though it could be as late as 2024.
