Starfield Early Access

Looking for Starfield early access? If you want to get your space boots on early, you’ll need to head on over to the Xbox Store and grab one of the special editions for the Bethesda RPG game. The early access period is staggered, meaning that some players will get to play early while others wait until the official release date.

Starfield early access is available to players who purchase the premium or constellation editions of the game. If you fancy hopping into the world of Starfield early, here’s what you need to know.

Starfield Early Access Release Date

Starfield early access launches on September 1. The release date is fixed, and it’s available to all players who have purchased the premium or constellation edition.

However, it’s worth noting that the early access period lasts for five days, during which you can play Starfield up until the official launch on September 6. This means that any potential outages would be related to installing and validating the game through Steam or the Xbox desktop app.

Starfield Early Access Price

The Starfield early access price is $100 for the premium edition. This includes one story expansion once it’s available, a skin pack, and a couple of digital goodies, namely the artbook and soundtrack.

If you want even more content, the constellation edition is priced at $300. This includes all the content from the premium edition, as well as some rather fancy physical goodies that would make any Starfield fan jealous.

Is Starfield Early Access Included?

The standard edition doesn’t grant early access, nor does the version available through the Game Pass subscription.

It’s currently unclear if players will be able to purchase the premium edition content separately for Early Access. However, given that the contents of the premium and constellation editions are digital, it would make sense if it was part of the early access deal.

Does Starfield Require a Constant Internet Connection?

While many games require an internet connection to play, Starfield doesn’t. Naturally, any potential outages would likely be related to installing and validating the game through Steam or the Xbox desktop app, but you won’t be booted from your single-player game because Bethesda wants to check your connection.

That’s everything you need to know about Starfield early access. If you’re going to wait for the official launch, we’ve got some Starfield codes to tide you over until the release date. Alternatively, check out the best upcoming games to tide you over until your next trip to the cosmos.
