Starfield vs. Baldur's Gate 3: Storage Woes

Starfield's launch is threatened by a lack of storage space on PC, as the size of the RPG game forces those with limited storage to clear room in order to download the game.

The RPG game takes up 139.84 GB of space on PC, which is a large amount, but is dwarfed by Baldur’s Gate 3, which takes up massive 136.08 GB. With both games already taking up so much space, it leaves some with no option but to delete their BG3 save to make space for Starfield.

Baldur’s Gate 3 already dominates hard drive space, and Starfield’s size only makes things worse for PC gamers, as the struggle to juggle both games amid limited storage is real.

“Starfield is coming, but Baldur’s Gate 3 is already consuming my hard drive,” one player writes on Reddit, as another adds, “Already running out of hard drive space with just the base game, let alone DLC and Starfield.”

Another writes, “Baldur’s Gate 3 takes up massive 136.08 GB, making space for Starfield difficult.”

So, if you’re struggling to fit Starfield on your PC, don’t feel alone, as many are also facing similar storage woes, as BG3 already dominates hard drive space and makes room for Starfield a difficult task.
