The new Starfield controller
The new Starfield Controller from Xbox is a must-buy if you’re a big fan of Bethesda’s latest sci-fi RPG. While I’m admittedly a bit of a “mark” when it comes to all things Starfield, I can’t deny that the controller is aesthetically pleasing. The clean Starfield colors and bronze accents would look great in any Fallout 4 settlement or base in the game.
Console wraps and more Fallout and Elder Scrolls merch
Xbox has also announced that it’s bringing console wraps to the Xbox One and Xbox One X, including a Starfield-themed one. If you’re like me and prefer your Xbox in a clean, white state, but wish it were themed for your favorite games, console wraps offer a way to pretend. Personally, I’m interested in the Starfield wrap launching in November, but there are two camo prints launching later that month as well, if patterns are more your thing.
It’s worth noting that these wraps aren’t limited edition, so if you’re on the fence about buying one, you don’t have to worry about missing out on a specific design. The Starfield wrap is also priced at $50, which might seem a bit steep when some third-party vinyl wrappers can be found for less. That said, the silicone designs on the inside ensure the wraps will last longer than your average vinyl skin, and the velcro enclosures make them easier to put on and take off than most other console skins.
In any case, I’m certainly not going to pass up the opportunity to brighten up my room with some “NASApunk.” Personally, I’m just excited to get my hands on a controller featuring the Starfield logo. That said, I don’t want to spend too much money on Starfield merch before I’ve even played the game, so we’ll see how things go.
In the meantime, check out some of our other favorite series skins, including Assassin’s Creed and Fallout 76. You can also read our Starfield walkthrough if you’re stuck on a specific side quest.
