Mika require charge motions that require a direction to be held while inputting a specific button. These motions can be quite tricky to pull off under pressure during a match, especially if you’re a newcomer to the fighting game genre.
In Street Fighter 6, Capcom has eliminated the need for special inputs for special moves and other abilities like EX attacks and Quick Combos. This change makes special moves easier to execute, but you lose access to all the moves for each character. New players who don’t want to compete will most likely be fine with Modern controls considering there’s less of a learning curve. So experiment with Street Fighter 6 modern controls and see if they’re your jam, but be aware that you may at least have to ditch them if you plan on rocking with the best at high-level tournaments.
